Client Operations Manager 

Main Street Financial Group is a financial planning and investment firm.  Our mission is to promote financial planning through the education of our clients, enabling them to achieve the clarity needed to make informed decisions and reach their financial goals.

We seek a Client Operations Manager to play a critical role in the back-office functioning of our firm. With responsibility for the day-to-day operational duties, the Client Operations Manager helps keep the office running smoothly and ensures all client paperwork and processing is handled in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.

 Responsibilities & Activities

  • Assist team by gathering all documents and forms needed for weekly client meetings
  • Create folder for each client a week prior to their meeting
  • Go to assigned financial websites and download client statements and other necessary information
  • Create meeting agendas to include historical information gathered by researching in our CRM, reading past notes, agendas and documents.
  • You will have 10-15 meetings to prepare for each week
  • Assist in preparing paperwork for onboarding new clients
  • Scan, process and file client paperwork; Assist with client password resets
  • Contact clients as needed for additional and missing information
  • Process new accounts, account transfers, new contributions and redemptions
  • Update CRM, noting findings and new information
  • Handle miscellaneous operational activities and other duties as assigned
  • Develop and maintain written systems of all activities


  • BA/BS degree in finance-related field from an accredited institution
  • FINRA Series 7, 63, (and 65 if needed for your Registered Investment Advisor)
  • Previous securities industry experience
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Great attitude and strong client service orientation
  • Low/no drama personality with laser focus on getting the details right
  • Able to handle multiple tasks within tight time frames
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong verbal, written, presentation, research and interpersonal communication skills
