Client Relationship Manager

Main Street Financial Group is a rapidly growing financial planning firm located in the Crabapple/Milton, Georgia area.  Our mission is to teach our clients so that they have the clarity to make informed decisions to achieve their financial goals.

We seek a Client Relationship Manager to join our fun team. You will play a key role in our organization by working directly with investment and financial planning clients, helping to manage new accounts, account transfers, beneficiary changes, etc.  This is a client facing position and does offer the potential for a career path to a financial advisor role and eventual partner.

With shared responsibility for the day-to-day operational duties of the firm, the Manager helps keep the office running smoothly and ensures that all client paperwork and processing is handled in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.

Responsibilities & Activities

Level 1

  • Learn and understand all operational processes
  • Become securities and insurance licensed
  • Become familiar with all our investment and insurance partner’s websites and how to access client data
  • Contact clients as needed for additional and missing information
  • Prep for Advisor meetings
  • Service clients

Level 2

  • All of the above plus:
  • Learn how to run plans in eMoney
  • Begin Certified Financial Planner program
  • Meet with investment and insurance partners and diagram who fits best in which client situation
  • Identify insurance opportunities
  • Provide insurance analysis
  • Coordinates state, SEC, FINRA, and insurance licensing and appointments

Level 3

  • All of the above plus:
  • Sitting in advisor’s client meetings
  • Learn sales and review process
  • Lead meeting follow up activities
  • Mentor new support advisor
  • Generate plan and investment recommendations and proposals

 Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities


 Proactive thinker and worker; customer service focus; eager to please

  • Detail-oriented with ability to prioritize; meets tight deadlines with no errors
  • Friendly; low or no drama personality; professional communicator and problem solver
  • Trustworthy, discreet and confidential. Eager to do great work
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM (Redtail preferred)
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • BA/BS degree in finance-related field from an accredited institution


 Previous securities industry experience

  • FINRA Series 7, 63 (and 65 if needed for your Registered Investment Advisor)
